Senator Charles Schumer D-NY characterized House Conservatives today as “fleas”! His insult came amid the now detiorating discussions between Republicans, Democrats, and the Tea Party over the budget. That “discussion” has now detiorated into name calling and playing the “blame game.” Keep in mind that this is YOUR elected representatives and public SERVANTS in action. Also keep in mind that the whole world is watching this fiasco and laughing at us even MORE than they have been. Is this really the image of America we want projected? That of our politicians acting like 13 year old spoiled BRATS bickering over who gets the use of the sandbox? This is beyond shameful our dear readers.
Schumer has busied himself all day long criticizing Republicans. Nice to know that this US Senator apparently does not have the ability to engage in productive conversations but can quickly resort to name calling and blaming. Where did this guy come from anyway? The NYC kindergarten class of 1900? Schumer found his way to the Senate floor, most likely with assistance of a guide poodle, and gave a floor speech today saying that conservatives were the “flea controlling the dog.” And he made it clear that in this case the “dog” is the federal government. Well I’ll fully agree with that LOL. And since Schumer is a part of the government does that mean Schumer was also calling himself a DOG? Open mouth, insert hoof Charley!!
Schumer went on to say, “What we have here is a flea wagging a tail, wagging a dog. The flea are the minority of House Republicans who are hard right, the tail is the House Republican caucus, and the dog is the government. That flea is influencing what the dog does…and it is sad.”
Wow! Sounds like Schumer knows awhole lot about dog anatomy!
For more than a week now the illustrious, never silent, Schumer has been saying that if the government shutsdown it will be the fault of the Tea Party Conservatives in Congress. Really? I don’t think so Senator! It appears Charles Schumer has forgotten that the budget SHOULD HAVE been passed this past October 1 when the Democrats were the MAJORITY in both the Senate and House. But, instead of passing a budget as they SHOULD HAVE done they passed it off as unimportant and have done so for the past SIX months. If the government shuts down it will be the fault of the Democrats as they SHOULD HAVE passed a budget last October!
In another statement of absolute hypocrisy Schumer said, “When either party goes to the extreme they don’t do the right thing. My experience is they lose politically, but much more importantly they do what is wrong for the country substantively.” What the hell?? So is he admitting that when the Democrats controlled both houses of Congress last year that because they were extreme they didn’t do the right thing? Doubtful, sorry.
Schumer’s best bet at this point would be to shut up and go hide somewhere. Once again today he has made a complete FOOL out of himself and shown his sheer ignorance and hypocrisy to the entire nation and world. Schumer may think that conservatives are the flea but, frankly, I’d say Schumer and others like him are TICKS! Anyone got a Tick Collar for DOGS I can borrow? What an idiot.
BTW if the government does shutdown tonight only NON-ESSENTIAL functions and personnel of the federal government will be effected. I hope Americans will then realize just how many of these non-essential positions could be and should be ELIMINATED!!

Well I don’t know about Conservatives being fleas BUT there is one thing I do know and that is that Schumer is the ASS END OF THE DOG!!

and here we go again! party line bickering, and spinning, not of which benefits the people they took the oath of office to serve!!!
DemocRATS were suppose to have the budget done in October…but since they knew they will lose the House they are putting the blame on Republicans…
in little over 2 years obama and company increased debt some 4 trillion dollars …isn’t this like 25 times as fast as the previous years since Washington took office??!!!
Come to think about it….
I think it is time to do something humane and put the SICK DOG to sleep!!!!
